Midland Air Service Experts was thrilled to participate in the Midlands Ride for Kids a few weeks ago. This is the second year that Midland Air has participated in this amazing event that gives all the proceeds to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the top nonprofit financing research into childhood brain tumors. The raised money funds free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial aid for families.
Midland Air Service Experts donated $1000 to this amazing cause and the nationwide event has raised over $500,000. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been volunteering for the event since 2014 and her dad’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids each year.
“My dad’s riding group participates every year because they can have a blast and ride motorcycles, all for this wonderful cause.” You can see Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The generous motorcycle club may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it to help the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and participating in incredible events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To find out more about how you can get involved and raise awareness for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, go to their site.
